On Saturday 5 October, The Big Draw Rotterdam will take place at the R. Rijnhoutplein in Rotterdam. Together with the other neighbors who sit on the square, such as Jeugdbieb West and the Leeszaal, we are making an ode to the namesake of the square: Rigardus Rijnhout a.k.a. The Giant of Rotterdam. He grew to more than 2.35 meters and died in 1959, at the age of 36. With cartoonists, children, artists and anyone who also likes to draw, we make friends for the giant. It will be a festive afternoon, from 12:00 to 17:00, with music and art.
