Waar kunst dieren tot leven brengt
In the Zoötropia of Galerie Atelier Herenplaats, it’s off to the beasts. The rustling of the forest betrays the presence of the beast. In paint, coloured pencil, chalk and ink, the animals report flamboyantly. This adventurous journey through the world of George Orwell, Jean de La Fontaine and Anton Vrede, where the beasts seem like people and the people seem like beasts, the zoetrope reigns supreme that sets everything in motion.
